Auto-fit Mesh to IP Electrodes

Use the Auto-fit Mesh to IP Electrodes dialog to auto fit the mesh to electrodes. The horizontal cell sizes of the mesh can be adjusted so that data positions are as close as possible to cell edges, and a best fit to the electrode configuration selected is obtained (i.e., receivers (Rx), transmitters (Tx), or both receivers and transmitters (Rx and Tx)).

The tool is launched from the Modify IP Mesh Parameters dialog.

Electrodes to fit

Choose from one of the configuration options below:

  • Rx - Receivers
  • Tx - Transmitters
  • Rx and Tx - Receivers and Transmitters

Nominal cell size in X

Specify the nominal cell size in the X direction. The default value is determined by the average active cell size.

  • You can adjust the nominal cell size to better fit the mesh to electrodes in this direction.
  • Nominal cell size in Y

Specify the nominal cell size in the Y direction. The default value is determined by the average active cell size.
