Changing Public Scene Settings

You need to be an Admin to change public scene settings.

Owners and Editors of projects can save scenes in projects, which is described in Collaborating with the Team. Scenes can be Public or Private:

Private scenes can only be viewed by other collaborators on the project, e.g. those who are Owners, Editors or Viewers of the project.
Public scenes can be shared by sending a link to the scene; people do not need to have access to the Central project itself to view the scene.

Central Admins can disable the ability to create public scenes on the Central server. To do this, click on Maintenance in the sidebar, then on Public Scenes. To prevent the creation of public scenes, make sure the Public scenes switch is in the OFF position:

When public scenes have been disabled, the Private/Public switch will be disabled for any scenes in a project:

If you disable public scene sharing, any existing public scenes will remain public unless the project’s Owner decides to change the scenes to private.
