New Custom Media Size
Use the New Custom Media Size option (geogxnet.dll(Geosoft.GX.MapTemplate.CustomMediaSize;Run)*) to set a custom media size for your Geosoft maps.
The tool is accessible from the Page Layout tab in the Parameters dialog for the following drillhole plots:

Name |
Enter a name for your new media size. |
Units |
Specify if the page units are in centimeters (cm) or inches (in). The parameters in the Size and Margins sections will be converted automatically based on your units selection. |

Enter the total horizontal width (including the left/right margin). |
Height |
Enter the total vertical height (including the top/bottom margin). |
Margins |

Top/Bottom |
Enter the width of a blank margin to add at the top and bottom edges of the page. |
Left/Right |
Enter the width of a blank margin to add at the left and right edges of the page. |
Preview |

The window gives you a preview of the current dimensions (size and margins) of the page. The window is dynamically refreshed when one of the Size or Margins parameters are adjusted.

Application Notes
When the tool is initialized, the Size and Margins sections will display intelligent defaults for all the parameters. These are calculated based on the Page size selection (in the Page Layout tab) and converted (if necessary) to your current Units selection.
It is recommended that once a custom media size has been set up to click on the Auto button (in the Page Layout tab in the drillhole Parameters dialog) – this will rescale the Map scale option to the custom media size. The default printer setting should also be configured to match the custom media size.
*The GX tool will search in the "...\Geosoft\Desktop Applications \gx" folder. The GX.Net tools, however, are embedded in the geogxnet.dll located in the "...\Geosoft\Desktop Applications \bin" folder. If running this GX interactively, bypassing the menu, first change the folder to point to the "bin" folder, then supply the GX.Net tool in the specified format.
