2D Map Tools for the 3D Viewer

From the Add to 3D menu in the 3D Viewer, use the 2D Map Tools menu to add 2D features to your 3D View. The menu includes the following options: 

• Line Path – Use the Line Path dialog to plot and label survey line paths.

• Profile – Use the Profile dialog to draw profiles of channel values for all selected lines in a database.

• Arrows – Use the Arrows dialog to plot arrow vectors based on X and Y direction channels.

• Posting – Use the Posting dialog to post a channel’s data values on a map.

• Symbols > including Location Plot, Zone Coloured, Colour Range Symbols, Proportional Size, Colour Range and Proportional Size, and Strike-Dip Symbols

• Contour > including Quick, Contour, Log Contour, and Have Control File

• Grid and Image Display > including Single Grid, Ternary Image, 2-Grid Composite, 3-Grid Composite, and 4-Grid Composite

• Draw from PLY File – Use the Draw from PLY File dialog to draw the polygons from a polygon file on the map.
