Signing In to Oasis montaj 2025.1

Installation

When installing the 2025.1 version of Oasis montaj or the stand-alone Target application, you will be prompted to enter your email to sign in. The system will then check whether your user account is domain-locked to Bentley Systems:

  1. If your account is not domain-locked to Bentley Systems or you are not an existing Bentley Systems user (linked to a Bentley account on IMS), you will be prompted to choose between the two license providers and their respective sign-in options: Seequent ID or Bentley account. After making your selection, click Get Started to begin the installation process.

    1. If you selected Bentley and haven't signed in to the Bentley CONNECTION Client yet, you will need to sign in first – see the Signing in with a Bentley account section bellow.

    2. If you selected Seequent and you are not signed in to the Seequent Connector, you will need to sign in first – see the Signing in with a Seequent ID section bellow.

    3. Future installations of the Oasis montaj or Target application will not prompt for the email sign-in and license selector dialogs.

  2. If your email account is domain-locked to Bentley Systems or you are an existing Bentley Systems user, and you haven't signed in to the Bentley CONNECTION Client yet, you will need to sign in first — see the Signing in with a Bentley account section bellow.

    Subsequent installations of the Oasis montaj or Target application will no longer display the email sign-in dialog prompt.

The installer will display the Select Applications to Install dialog. The available applications and options depend on your entitlements and licenses.

  • Select the licensed applications and any additional options, then click Next and follow the setup wizard to complete the installation.

Signing in with a Seequent ID 

  1. If you are not signed in to the Seequent Connector, you will be prompted to sign in. When signing in with a Seequent ID, authentication will still take place in the browser window:

Signing in with a Bentley account 

  1. To sign in with a Bentley account, Bentley’s CONNECTION Client must be installed on your computer. If it is not installed, you will be prompted to download it:

  2. If the CONNECTION Client is installed but you have not signed in, you will be prompted to sign in. For more details, refer to Bentley CONNECTION Client.

    If the CONNECTION Client was installed and configured during the installation process, you will need to restart the Geosoft Desktop Applications installer to complete the installation.
  3. No Entitlements or Disconnected Usage

    If you lack the necessary entitlements or are disconnected and entitlements cannot be validated, an error message will appear:

    • Check your product entitlements with your organization's administrator or click the provided link to contact Support.

    • Click Close to exit the installation process and log out of your current session.

  4. Seequent Connector

    • The Seequent Connector will appear in the system tray with the Sign In/Sign Out options disabled.

    • Your user identity will be managed through Bentley Connection Client. XID is still used for your current Seequent subscriptions, including all licensed products and maintenance expiration dates.     • Furthermore, your Seequent ID provides access to MySeequent Support and the Seequent Learning Centre for online support, product downloads, learning resources, community forums, etc.

Launching Oasis montaj

When launching or running Oasis montaj or stand-alone Target, if you are not signed in to the Seequent Connector or Bentley CONNECTION Client, you will be prompted to sign in – see the Signing in with a Seequent ID and Signing in with a Bentley account sections above.
