Survey Data - Drillhole Import Wizard

Summary

Use this tab to specify the import parameters for the survey data to be imported into the current geodatabase feature dataset. Once all the required fields are specified and mapped, the message “Ready to import Dip-Azimuth Survey data” or “Ready to import East-North Survey data” will display at the bottom of the tab and the OK button will be enabled.

Parameter Explanation

Survey View

The name of selected Survey data. This field is read-only.

Survey type

The survey type of the Survey data to be imported. This field is read-only.

Dip-Azimuth survey data includes hole deviation information in Hole ID, Depth, Azimuth, and Dip fields.

Easting-Northing survey data includes hole deviation information in Hole ID, Easting, Northing, and Elevation fields.

Database Fields

The database fields that are available for import. Select (highlight) a field to specify the Channel Type and parameters.

Filter Conditions

Click this button to open the Filter Conditions dialog.
Channel Type

Not imported

 Select the Not imported option if you do not want the selected (highlighted) database field to be imported.

Data

Select the Data option if you want the selected (highlighted) database field to be imported as data.

Hole ID

Select the Hole ID option if you want the selected (highlighted) database field to be imported as Hole IDs. This is a required field.

Depth

Select the Depth option if you want the selected (highlighted) database field to be imported as depth data. This is a required field for the survey type dip-azimuth.

Dip

Select the Dip option if you want the selected (highlighted) database field to be imported as collar dip data. This is a required field for the survey type dip-azimuth.

Azimuth

Select the Azimuth option if you want the selected (highlighted) database field to be imported as azimuth. This is a required field for the survey type dip-azimuth.

Easting

Select the Easting option if you want the selected (highlighted) database field to be imported as easting survey data. This is a required field for the survey type easting-northing.

Northing

Select the Northing option if you want the selected (highlighted) database field to be imported as northing survey data. This is a required field for the survey type easting-northing.

RL

Select the RL option if you want the selected (highlighted) database field to be imported as RL (Elevation) data. This is a required field for the survey type easting-northing.
Parameters

Field name

Specify the field name. This field is read-only for required field types.

Data type

Specify the data type. This field is read-only for required field types.

Data format

Specify the data format. This field is read-only for required field types.

Dummy

Specify the alpha and /or numeric characters to be used as the dummy. The default is (*).
