Gradients

GM-SYS Profile Modelling modelling can model any or all of six gradient-tensor components of the gravity field and the horizontal and vertical gradient of the total magnetic field. Most of the gradient features may be accessed in the Gradients menu. The Enable Grav. Gradients and Enable Magn. Gradients options are "greyed-out" and inactive if the GM‑SYS license does not include this option.

Gradient Features Include:

• Calculation and display of observed values and calculated response curves may be toggled on/off for each individual magnetic and/or gravity gradient components.

• Toggling a calculated curve "on" for a component enables recalculation of that component.

• Alignment of the gradient component axes may be toggled between the profile direction or compass direction

• Plotting and anomaly scaling are controlled with the standard GM-SYS Profile Modelling functions
