Drillhole Symbology Pane
Summary
The Drillhole Symbology pane can be used to create custom drillhole symbologies, set default symbologies to be used when adding data, and to manage saved symbologies.
Usage
The Drillhole Symbology pane has three tabs:.
- Modify - allows you to create custom symbology styles, or appearances that may be difficult or impossible to create using the Esri symbology tools.
- Set Defaults - allows you to see, assign or remove the "default symbology" for any particular drillhole layer, or attribute.
- Manage - allows you to see, rename or delete any of the saved, imported, or preset symbologies that are saved with the current drillhole dataset.
Shortcuts for Adding Data with Symbologies
Drillhole data layers can be added to the current map or scene from shortcuts within several different Drillhole panes. Drillhole data layers can be added from:
- The Datasets tab of the Drillhole Datasets pane - when using drag and drop or right click.
- The Add Data tab of the Drillhole Datasets pane - when using the toggles to add data.
- The Set Defaults tab of the Drillhole Symbology pane - when using right click.
