CVTGMS Model File Conversion

CVTGMS (Convert to GM‑SYS) is a file conversion utility designed to quickly and easily convert between GM‑SYS model files and digitised geologic models, DXF files, and several common geophysical model formats. CVTGMS will import DIG (2-D and 3-D), DXF, GMA, LCT, SAKI and GM‑SYS model files and export DIG (2-D and 3-D), DXF, LCT, SAKI, and GM‑SYS model files.

Import Functions

  • Adjustable Snap Tolerance

  • Displays Input Model and Limits

  • Create Nodes Where Lines Cross

  • Create Full and Infinity Views for New GM‑SYS Models

  • Gravity and/or Magnetics Stations and Data Preserved for Formats that Include Data

  • Remove Micro-blocks

  • Assign Block Names

Modifying New or Existing Models

Any or all of the following functions on may be used to modify imported models or existing GM‑SYS models:
